SOALS is intentionally designed to be low-stakes and flexible.
There’s no long-term commitment or high-pressure expectations. Our community is simply a creative, supportive space teens can join for as long as it feels right. We know families are juggling a lot, and we don’t want this to feel like another expensive or demanding extracurricular.

SOALS is for teens who want to explore their creativity, develop their writing skills, and learn how to share their stories in meaningful (and even profitable!) ways. Whether you consider yourself a writer or not, our community is dedicated to helping you in finding your voice and share it with confidence.

SOALS participants will be supported to write & publish a range of creative projects—including but not limited to poetry, short stories, memoir, essays, or articles.
You will be equipped with the tools, actionable guides, and a supportive community to keep yourself accountable and accomplish your creative goals!

All of our live sessions, including Weekly Writing Club, Creativity Calls, and Mentorship Calls/Author Roundtables, are held virtually through Zoom.
You’ll be able to RSVP and add events to your calendar from inside the SOALS Member Hub, and we will send reminders via text/email leading up to each event.

Each session and course will be led by members of our team and/or guest mentors in our network! This includes published writers, certified educators, and epic storytellers with a range of backgrounds and life experiences—all of whom are passionate about supporting the next generation of creatives.

You bet!
Weekly Writing Club (amongst other events and workshops) is a space to share your work and receive constructive feedback from both peers and experienced mentors.

No worries! You'll have access to pre-recorded workshops and specific courses that share similar topics to our live sessions through your Member Hub.
We also host multiple live sessions every week, so it’ll never be too long before you have an opportunity to jump back in. -
We designed SOALS to be the most accessible teen program of its kind. Enrollment can be month-to-month at $33 or yearly at $324.

The best way to try one of our sessions without locking yourself into a long-term membership is by signing up for one month for only $33.
